“I’m Eric Klerck and it has been my joy and privilege to pastor Shepherd’s Grace Baptist Church since its founding in 2021. Thank you for visiting our website. We are here to help you grow in your walk with the Lord. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to your church family.”

Pastor Eric trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour on October 4, 1983, at the age of thirteen while attending a revival meeting in Pretoria, South Africa.  He has a heart to “feed the flock of God” and pastor God’s people. He pours his heart and life into studying God’s word for the sake of preaching and teaching the truth. He preaches with boldness, depth and clarity.

“Going blind was very difficult, but it is the best thing that ever happened to me. It redirected my life and brought me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. I may have lost my physical sight, but God has given me clear vision spiritually.”

God equipped him for the ministry after he lost his site in 2006. He was the first blind student of The Bible Doctrine Institute and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Divinity in 2021. He was ordained by Dr. David Peacock and today faithfully serves God as the founding Pastor of Shepherd’s Grace Baptist Church.  He has an unquenchable love for souls and a desire to see people get saved and grow closer to God. 

Pastor Eric is proof that God can use anyone in the ministry, regardless of a disability or their personal circumstances.
